What's so special about Dainty Cheeks Dolls?

In short, they are made with a lot of love and obsessive attention to detail right here in the USA. Established in 2010, many years have gone into perfecting patterns and techniques. Each doll takes many hours to complete and the combination of new and vintage/repurposed fabric used in their creation means they not only have a bright future, but a sweet past as well.

How do I purchase a doll?

Ready-to-ship dolls are listed on a restock basis. Days and times are always listed at the beginning of the week on the homepage; as well as on Instagram- @daintycheeks. They are first come, first served and it's usually recommended that you are ready to purchase at the time of the restock.

Can I request changes to a ready-to-ship doll or add clothing?

Ready-to-ship dolls are sold as they are and changes can't be made to them. Additional clothing options are listed in separate restocks as ready-to-ship as well.

Can I place a custom order?

Custom orders work similarly to the ready to ship restocks, in that they are listed at a specific time on a specific day (usually once every few months). With a custom order, you purchase the listing and are then contacted within 2-5 days to go over customization options (i.e.: type of doll, color preferences, personalization, etc.) Production time for custom dolls is 4-5 weeks plus shipping. The cost of a custom doll is starts at $274.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, of course! We ship just about anywhere, however it's important to understand that Dainty Cheeks cannot be held responsible for lost packages, international custom fees or taxes. All international fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Do you combine shipping?

We sure do! Any overage incurred through multiple orders will be refunded at the time of shipping.

What is your refund policy?

Because all items are handmade, all sales are final. However, if there is an issue with a damaged item through a fault of our own, we are happy to work with you on resolving the issue.

How can I clean my doll?

The best solution is to spot clean, especially with the heirloom girl dolls and all animals except the unicorn. My daughter has had her unicorn for 4 years and it has gone everywhere with us. I have washed her (minus all the clothing and accessories) quite a few times in a pillow case. Please note, with machine washing you will get a bit of a frayed, "loved" look, so if you are not into that, spot cleaning with a damp soapy cloth is best.

What are the dolls stuffed with?

Dolls are stuffed with hypoallergenic polyfil, made from recycled materials. It's perfect because it's squishy yet holds is shape at the same time.
